Felipe Cespedes est un artiste colombien, qui s’inspire d’expressions artistiques millénaires telles que le textile, la céramique et la sculpture, en créant des versions contemporaines et urbaines.

Each creation explores the abstract visual language found throughout the Americas, conveying mystical knowledge, sacred symbols, and Indigenous traditions. Drawing on the formal structures of sacred geometry, Céspedes creates new compositions that keep this ancestral visual language alive.

By bringing together this visual tradition, the urban stencil technique, and the study of Latin American Op Art, Céspedes creates kinetic works in which carefully balanced, low-saturation colour palettes generate subtle visual movement, enhancing the tonal nuances of each hue.
